SFMI supported STEG with mechanical maintenance works on steam turbine systems
and auxiliaries. The scope included dismantling turbine roof/casing elements, steel
structure maintenance, pump maintenance, and repair works on boiler-related
components to support safe operation and improved reliability.

Comprehensive maintenance on three critical auxiliary pumps, including inspection, lubrication, alignment checks, vibration monitoring, and component repairs to ensure reliable lubrication, cooling, and fluid circulation for safe turbine operation.
Repair and refurbishment of the purge drum (ballon de purge) for controlled blowdown of boiler water impurities, alongside boiler component repairs including tube inspections, welding fixes, and pressure part restoration to maintain water quality, prevent scaling, and ensure safe, efficient steam generation.
SFMI delivered plumbing works and thermal insulation services (de-insulation and re
insulation) at STIR’s Bizerte site, supporting safe operations, line protection, and utility
performance.
On-site plumbing interventions including pipe inspection, leak detection and repair, valve/gasket replacement, line flushing, and system reconnection to ensure leak-free operation, pressure integrity, and reliable fluid transport in industrial process lines.
De-insulation and re-insulation (calorifugeage): safe removal of old lagging, surface prep, new thermal insulation installation, and jacketing to restore energy efficiency and line protection.

Refresh painting works in Maintenance Director’s office and cashier area: prep, priming, two-coat application, and cleanup for enhanced appearance, durability, and hygienic office conditions.
Water leak repairs in expedition/shipping area and laboratory: leak detection, pipe/joint sealing, fitting replacements, and pressure testing to eliminate water loss, prevent equipment damage, and restore dry, functional workspaces.
Supply & installation of aluminum door and canteen components: custom fabrication, door mounting, hardware integration, and alignment for improved durability, ease of use, and hygienic staff facilities.
